Laborday Motorcycle Trip to Wildwood & Atlantic City

During the long laborday weekend I took an extra day off, so I could ride my motorcycle (with my son Collin) for our first really long trip of the summer. I promissed my friend Trevor that I would come down to see him and that we could ride together before the end of the summer, collin was going to spend time with Trevors sons Zach and Nathaniel.

I packed up our stuff and headed out Friday morning for the first leg of the trip (682 km – about 8 hours), All went well, we stopped every two hours or so to stretch our legs, eat, nature break have coffee etc. For te last hour we caught some rain just as it was starting to get dark. We did not get that wet, just the bottom of the legs or our pants.

Sat:
Trevor and I set out for Point Pleasant NJ(C), almost directly east to the coast, they call it the shore points or Jersey Shore. From there we headed directly south along the coast to Atlantic City, Ocean City, Wildwood and Cape May. We Spent the night in Wildwood after a long day of driving.

Sun:
We Started back north toward Hamilton, NJ, on the way back to Trevor's we stopped for a nice steak dinner.

Mon:
On Monday morning I headed back to Montreal with my son Collin in tow.
Total number of Kilometers was approx 2000km.
Total number of hours riding that weekend almost 40hrs.

It was a great trip.
